Preliminary Sketches. Vans OTW by Chris Law

Those who know me, know that I’m a big fan of sneaker design. Part of what we do here at Sneakerbox is to document and tell the stories of the technology, aesthetics and who’s behind the design work. Just recently I myself learned that Crooked Tongues‘ very own Chris Law was behind a lot of great shoes for many brands. I also recently discovered his “Bits & Do-Dads” Blog where he documents his work and collaborations. We’ve reached out to Chris for a full interview or a little Q & A. I spotted these preliminary sketches for Vans OTW on his site and decided to share them wit you guys. I wish I could draw. LOL I’m awesome at color blocking and material placement but when it comes to sketch work and silhouette design, I’m lost. Enjoy.
