Globally renowned footwear mag, Sneaker Freaker, has revealed the results of its second collaboration with Lacoste L!VE. The two have handpicked three stores from around the world, each of which is embedded within their respective city’s sneaker scene, to do an individual rework on Lacoste’s 1989 Missouri court shoe.

Berlin’s Overkill joins Barcelona’s 24Kilates and Moscow’s Fott, with all sneakers dropping November 21. We take a closer look at the release, below.

Overkill go obscure and interpret their Missouri silhouette (above) through the 1968 track “Crimson & Clover.” The result is a crocodile-embossed leather upper in mint, while crimson touches are seen on the sole unit’s flank and in the embroidered four-leaf clover on the heel counter. Custom race aglets and printed insocks round off the colorway.

Meanwhile, in something that’s slightly out there (and with a unique sense of Russian street style) Fott‘s Missouri (above) gets an upper of hairy suede taken to the next level with UV details on the laces and sneaker’s branding. Meanwhile, reflective details are seen on the tongue and counter, all sitting on an outsole of glow-in-the-dark UV rubber.

Finally, 24Kilates‘ custom sneaker takes Lacoste’s sporting history and the iconic polo shirt as the starting point for its darker iteration. The Barcelona store mix classic piqué fabric and shirt detailing like the custom button and the sneaker’s oversized croc embroidery on the counter panel with classic textiles like ripstop nylon and the suitably Gallic fabric that is terry cloth.

This is the second Sneaker Freaker and Lacoste L!VE partnership. The first, also with the Missouri, took place almost a decade ago and saw just 124 exclusive pairs of the 1989 court shoe released around the world. Just 24 were unveiled at New York’s gentleman club sneaker store: the Alife Rivington Club.

All sneakers in this collab are limited to just 50 pairs, each from their respective stores, available November 21. Stay tuned for more news on the collab, coming soon.
