NikeCourt x Roger Federer Collection Launch

June 28th 2016

As part of NikeLab’s Summer of Sport celebration, Nike commissioned Rosie Lee to design and produce the NikeCourt x Roger Federer installation at 1948, London.

A bespoke table tennis table was created with a customized surface optimized to accomodate the interactive projection mapping created by Random. Rosie Lee’s also designed bespoke table tennis bats with subtle detailing and over 1,300 white tennis balls were used to build furniture installations.

The Art of Ping Pong, in partnership with Toby Melville-Brown, created an installation of bat artworks that focus on four imaginative stories that capture aspects of Roger Federer’s career and interests.

The project was delivered from brief to installation with a high attention to detail, to reflect the collection design.
