Tour Stop #1 – Shenyang

Stephen kicked off the tour by unveiling the exclusive colorways of the Curry 2.5 “Journey to Excellence” pack at the Under Armour Brand House in Mix City Mall.  While some lucky fans were offered a special Q&A and photos with Stephen in the store, several hundred lined up outside the Under Armour Brand House to get in on the action.

That was followed by a consumer event where 1,2,00 fans watched as Stephen was introduced to Shenyang by a special Flag Processional Dance.  He then led local ballers in shooting drills, battled them in a 3 point contest, and ref’d a 5-5 game.

Tour Stop #2 – Guangzhou

Stephen and Under Armour passed on the spirit of the game to the next generation in Guangzhou by hosting 30 top local ball players in an intensive clinic, alongside trainer Rob MacLanaghan.  While inside, over a thousand fans lined up outside to get a glimpse of what Stephen and Under Armour were up to – and we obliged.  Stephen came out and waved to the crowd mid-way through the clinic before heading back inside to get back to training drills.

Ten lucky players from that clinic earned their spot in the an event later that evening where over 1,500 fans were treated to an amazing celebration of the Guangzhou release of the Curry 2.5 “Journey to Excellence” pack.  During the event, Stephen battled a local celebrity in a shooting contest, and Stephen shot from half court! During the 5-on-5 game with the best local ballers, Stephen jumped into the game.  He played the entire second half, where he brought his team back to win with 3 – three pointers, in a row.

Stephen also ambushed a local Guangzhou court where unsuspecting ballers got to see him join the game.

Tour Stop #3 – Hong Kong

In Hong Kong, Kevin Plank joined the tour for a series of intimate events. Under Armour and Stephen launched a giveback program celebrating those people who are key in shaping the lives of kids, such as teachers and coaches.  The first stop in Hong Kong featured a meet & greet with kids, teachers and coaches who are a part of this new program. The kids got to witness Curry participating in a photo shoot overlooking the Hong Kong skyline; they then met him, exchanged gifts and took selfies with him.

Before departing Hong Kong, Kevin and Stephen visited a factory partner in Shenzen.  Hundreds of factory workers clad in Curry T’s greeted Stephen upon arrival.  He gave high 5’s to the crowd as they cheered and waved signs.  Once inside,

The final stop of the tour was in Taipei, and it was jam packed!  The day started with an event at Under Armour’s Da An Brand House in central Taipei.  While hundreds of fans cheered outside, a few lucky fans had the chance to hear Stephen talk about plans for the upcoming season.  He was joined by the designer of the footwear, Leon Gu to discuss the design process and footwear features. Never one to disappoint the fans, Stephen took time to sign autographs and greet the fans who had been waiting outside for hours.
