Oscar Pistorius: The Blade Runner

Today I saw a familiar face on TV. It was Oscar Pistorius; aka “The Blade Runner” He’s the first amputee to compete in track at the Olympics. He’s a double amputee at that. Watching him come in second and make it into the 400m Semifinals was such an inspiration. This quickly reminded me of Sarah Reinersten and the Nike SOLE post I put up in February of 2012. Sunday; you can bet the whole world; especially South Africa will be watching Pistorius in the Semifinals. I hope he makes it to the finals and takes the gold.
