Is it The Shoes? – November 16, 2012 Recap

Is it the shoes? For some, it can’t be. Today we introduce a new series that is sure to keep you guys entertained; and salivating. #IITS will focus on some of Nike Basketball’s most sought after shoes. Day to day we’ll highlight PEs worn by the best; and the worst players in the NBA. We’ll also be giving you guys stats and final scores throughout the 2012-2013 NBA season.
LaMarcus Aldridge had a good game against the Houston Rockets. He managed to put up 29 pts – 6 rbs – 2 ast helping the Portland Trail Blazers take the game in OT 119-117. The non PE version of the Nike Air Max Hyperposite is available in stores now. There actually some pretty dope colors available.
As mentioned above the Portland Trail Blazers routed the Houston Rockets in OT but unlike LaMarcus Aldridge; JJ Hickson didn’t fare as well in the stats department as he only put up 3 pts – 7 rbs – 0 ast. However he did don a nice pair of all red Nike Lunar Hyperdunk 2012 iDs. This exact pair can be made right now at NIKEiD.com.
Kevin Durant broke out the usual “Away” colorway of the Nike Zoom KD V yesterday for the Oklahoma City Thunder’s battle against New Orleans Hornets. In what was a testy game KD put up 27 pts – 9 rbs – 5 ast en route to a 110-95 victory in New Orleans.
As I mentioned previously the Thunder vs. Hornets game became rather hostile when Kevin Durant and Kendrick Perkins had a few choice words for New Orleans head coach Monty Williams as they went in to halftime. While we don’t know the exact reason for Perkins’ pedestrian 4 pts – 1 rbs – 1 ast; we can say that is was definitely not the same “Away” Zoom KD Vs that Durant wore.
Marc Gasol took to the court in a simple white/navy/yellow Nike Lunar Hyperdunk 2012 PE Friday as the Memphis Grizzlies took on the, then undefeated, New York Knicks. Gasol put up 24 pts – 7 rbs – 1 ast as the Grizzlies beat the Knicks rather handily 105-95.
While Marc Gasol was controlling the block his Memphis Grizzlies teammate Rudy Gay was having a decent shooting night while wearing a nice Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2012 PE. Gay added 17 pts – 2 rbs – 3 ast to help the Grizz to another great win.
Al Horford is one of those players that plays great constantly yet you never hear much about him. You also never read much about his sneaker choices; something that is going to change starting with #IITS. In addition to showing you Horford’s Nike Air Max Hyperposite PEs from Saturday we add that he dropped 20 pts – 10 rbs – 1 ast helping the Hawks beat the Kings 112-96.
