Such a timely occurrence for the ‘Is it The Shoes?’ series was last night’s Los Angeles Lakers vs. Houston Rockets game. The Los Angeles Lakers Kobe Bryant laced up what looks to be the “Concord” colorway of the Nike Zoom Kobe Venomenon III. Coincidentally, or maybe not, he also put up 22 pts – 11 rbs – 11 ast for his 18th career triple-double in what was the Lakers highest scoring game of the season. Now, we all know new sneakers and great stats don’t mean anything if you don’t get the win; luckily for the Lakers, and their fans, that wasn’t the case as the Lakers beat the Rockets 119-108.
