Earlier today we talked about Kobe’s triple-double and the first appearance of the Nike Zoom Kobe Venonenom III on-court. This evening we have a look at yesterday’s footwear choices from veterans such as Jerry Stackshouse and Deron Williams. Aside from Kobe’s triple-double and Lakers forward Pau Gasol scoring his 15,000th career point we didn’t see anything too exciting last night as far as basketball is concerned. However, we did see a nice selection of sneakers including the FILA Stack retro and the “Flu Game” Air Jordan 12 Retro.
The Brooklyn Nets’ Jerry Stackhouse took to the court against the Sacramento Kings in a black/white FILA Stack retro and while his 0 pts – 3 rbs – 0 ast don’t exactly display what he is capable of his leadership and wisdom are what really count at this point of his great career; both of which likely helped the Nets log another W as they beat the Kings 99-90.
Deron Williams put up a respectable 14 pts – 10 rbs – 5 ast in last night’s win over Sacramento while wearing a white/black Nike Lunar Hypergamer Low PE.
Sticking with the footwear of the Brooklyn Nets players we now turn our eyes to the feet of Andray Blatche. Blatche pulled out another pair of black/white-grey Jordan Spiz’ike iDs and put up 22 pts – 2 rbs – 1 ast in the Nets 6th win of the season.
DeMarcus Cousins of the Sacramento Kings broke out a Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 PE on Sunday and although the Kings did suffer their 8th loss of the season Cousins had a solid outing with 29 pts – 7 rbs – 3 ast.
The Toronto Raptor’s Amir Johnson laced up the ever so popular white/black-true red Air Jordan 13 Retro as the Raptors took on the Magic Sunday. Known more for his footwear than his game Johnson managed to put up an acceptable 15 pts – 5 rbs – 1 ast in the Raptors 97-86 win over the Orlando Magic.
Gerald Green is known as one the highest flying players in the game right now and slowly but surely he is becoming someone to watch when it comes to in-game footwear. In the Indiana Pacers 88-76 loss to the New York Knicks Green laced up the recently released “Calvin Bailey” Air Jordan 9 Retro.
The always popular Nate Robinson of the Chicago Bulls pulled out another Air Jordan Retro on Sunday in the form of the “Flu Game” Air Jordan 12 Retro. In addition to a nice choice in footwear Robinson recorded 18 pts – 1 rbs – 4 ast.
