Thursday nights tend to be the most entraining nights when it comes to NBA telecasts as we get the pleasure of being entertained by TNT’s Shaquille O’Neal, Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith, and Charles Barkley throughout the night. In addition to seeing back to back games that involved the New York Knicks vs. Miami Heat and the Dallas Mavericks vs. Phoenix Suns we were blessed with an epic edition of Shaq’s always funny “Shaqtin’ A Fool” and a very interesting piece that followed NBA Hall of Famers Reggie Miller and Charles Barkley around as they spent a day with one of the greatest boxer’s in the world in Manny Pacquiao. During the “Toe-To-Toe” piece with Reggie, Chuck, and Manny we saw Reggie run 6 miles with Manny and family, Chuck have a sit down conversation with Manny’s long time trainer Freddie Roach, and both Reggie and Chuck talk a ton of trash. While I was unable to get high quality footage of either piece I have included the link to Shaq’s “Shaqtin’ A Fool” above so make sure you check it out after you give the photos below a look.

Last night the New York Knicks took on the Miami Heat in South Florida and defeated them in a rather embarrassing fashion. Without their star, Carmelo Anthony, the Knicks managed to beat the Heat 112-92. The Heat’s C-F Chris Bosh gave his best as he took to the court in his usual Nike Air Max Hyperposite PE and put up 12 pts – 5 rbs – 6 ast.

Dwyane Wade hasn’t been playing up to his potential as of late but his choice in footwear has been outstanding. Last night Wade donned his black/cement Li-Ning Way Of Wade PE again while putting up 13 pts – 3 rbs – 1 ast in Miami’s loss to the Knicks.

Dwyane Wade wasn’t the only Heat player struggling last night as Mario Chamlers too put up pedestrian numbers that included 7 pts – 2 rbs – 1 ast. However, his choice of footwear was great as he wore another black/red Spalding Threat PE.

Thursday night brought a treat to sneaker lovers in the form of LeBron James and his soon to release Nike LeBron Xs in the charcoal/total orange-black colorway. While the Heat suffered yet another loss Thursday LeBron’s stat line of 31 pts – 10 rbs – 9 ast and choice of footwear looked great; as usual.

On the winning side of the New York Knicks vs. Miami Heat game Thursday stood the future Hall of Famer Jason Kidd in a black/orange-blue pair of Nike Lunar Hypergamer PEs. Kidd helped the Knicks defeat the Heat by recording 11 pts – 2 rbs – 4 ast.

While Kidd’s Knicks teammate James White didn’t exactly put up good numbers, 7 pts – 1 rbs – 0 ast, he did take to the court in a nice all orange K1X Hardwood PE.

While the New York Knicks vs. Miami Heat game was the more anticipated game of the two televised Thursday night the Dallas Mavericks vs. Suns game was rather interesting as the Phoenix Suns’ owner Robert Sarver issued a statement last Friday saying that if any paying fan was not completely satisfied with the night’s match-up they would be entitled to a full refund. Now this had nothing to do with what actually happened on the court Thursday but it did create a bunch of chatter throughout the basketball world which is always good; especially for a small market team like the Phoenix Suns. Now that the game has passed and the Suns have recorded their 7th loss of the season as they fell to the Mavericks 97-94 we will see home many, if any, fans request their money back for Thursday’s game. A game in which they seen the Mavericks Vince Carter lace up a white/blue pair of Nike Air Max Hyperdunk 2011 PEs and put up 9 pts – 7 rbs – 1 ast.
