Today’s edition of #IITS shoes highlights the footwear of the 7-8 Indiana Pacers. Now, it may seem odd that I am highlighting a team that is below .500, from a small market, and laking a “superstar” but the Pacers came into an energized environment that featured names like Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard on the court and fans like Ashton Kutcher, David Beckham, and Jack Black in the seats and got a much needed win. A win, that came in the very last seconds of regulation from a very calculated layup by the Pacers George Hill. At this point in the game the energy in the building was at it’s highest as the Lakers Kobe Bryant just knocked down a huge 3 pointer in the last Lakers possession to bring the game to a tie at 77 a piece. Not only did the Pacers beat the Lakers 79-77 without one of their best players in Danny Granger they did it wearing various popular sneakers such as the Nike LeBron 9 “Freegums”, “Calvin Bailey” Air Jordan 9 Retro, and the Nike Air Max Hyperposite. As always, we pose the question; is it the shoes? Let us know what you think in the comments section below or on Twitter at @IamJeffreyJason and/or @sneakerboxClyde.
