The all new UA Spine Venom. Backbone Required. Lightweight Cushioning. Flexible Support. Have you been handpicked to take the UA Spine Challenge? If you have, Under Armour is having a contest. They’re asking a select group of people to film video footage of extraordinary things they can do wearing the Spine Venoms; showing they have ‘Backbone” // What it takes. All videos are to uploaded to Youtube; and by 5/3/13 12PM EST a winner will be chosen. I’m not sure what the winner walks away with, but this could be fun; and interesting. Today I decided to go out and see how these new Spine Venom’s felt. If you’re interested in picking up a pair, go here.
A. Performance Upper:
Perfect feel & fit
Super-thin foam and breathable mesh combine to fit the foot perfectly and keep it cool.
B. Micro G Cushioning:
Soft landings. Explosive Takeoffs
A thin, light, super-responsive layer of Micro G foam is fused inside of the chassis for great feel and comfort.
C. UA Spine Chassis:
Support with Flex
High-density but flexible foam “cage” is cored out to removed all unnecessary weight delivering total support
Over all, I loved the feel of the shoe but…….. I only recommend these for asphalt and other outdoors terrains. Today I ran on rubber artificial track and it was quite slippery.
